E-04 Brake fault

The scooter thinks a brake is being held, so it cuts the motor power. Usually a lever not coming fully back, or the small switch in the lever.

What to check

    Squeeze and release both brake levers: each should snap back fully.

  2. 2

    Look at the small cable coming out of each lever. That is the cut-off switch. Check it is plugged in and not pinched.

  3. 3

    Clean around the lever pivot, and make sure nothing (a bag strap, a phone mount) is pressing a lever.
