E-03 Rear controller fault

The rear motor controller has reported a fault, often after heat or a hard load.

What to check

    Stop riding, switch off and let the scooter cool for at least 30 minutes, out of the sun.

  2. 2

    Switch on again. If the code is gone, ride gently for a while.

  3. 3

    If it comes back straight away, or when cold, the controller needs a shop check. Do not keep resetting it and riding.
