How to play two player games on one keyboard
Two player games on one keyboard are brilliant, and they work best with a little setting up.
Who takes what
Almost always, player one uses WASD on the left and player two uses the arrow keys on the right. Sit side by side with the laptop in the middle.

When a key stops working
Cheap and laptop keyboards can only register a few keys at once. If both players press several keys together, one of them can get lost. It is called ghosting, and it is the keyboard, not the game.
If it keeps happening, try to press fewer keys at the same moment, or plug in an external keyboard for one player.
Make it fair
Swap sides between rounds. The arrow keys are often closer to the trackpad, which can get in the way.
